The association gives guidlines to all its members, drawing on the experience of the Marquee hire industry as a whole to ensure that everything is done to the correct standards, with the correct materials, and erected in the correct manner.
Muta updates its recommendations on a regular basis, and its members are commited to obeying its guidlines.
There are some useful notes for potential hirers on their website at http://www.muta.org.uk regarding minimum marquee sizes for various functions, types of marquee available etc.
Don't be fooled by cheap rogue traders. Always ask if the hirer is a member of MUTA - its your safety at stake!!!
